When Babyworld was in its infancy, the then editor commissioned a series of articles about twins and more. There was a clear brief that these should be practical pieces which new parents could make good use of. Because I had first-hand experience, I was asked to come up with the subject areas. This seemed the obvious first choice - how to get through those first months of washing, feeding, changing, burping, spewing, drinking, crying, sleeping, washing, feeding, changing....And then there's the babies. (Sorry couldn't resist, the old ones are the best.)
Despite the out of date contact details for Tamba, I know the advice here still rings true. Looking back, what would my number one tip be? Be kind to yourself and don't judge yourself against the alleged 'achievements' of other mums. Oh hang on sorry, that's two. And what's that saying? Do as I say, not as I do? Never a truer word spoken. Ho hum.

my top tip.....never ever dress in black...it attracts baby sick like a bad movie script attracts jan michael vincent.
