Congratulations to Amanda de Cadenet and Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi on the birth of their twins. But I was struck by this strange phrase in the Mirror's report: The former wild child, 34, presented New York rocker Nick, 25, with a boy and a girl, each weighing six pounds. Don't you think that sounds like she scooped them up in her arms and stood in a good light, saying: "Look at these two love, aren't they great?" Perhaps it's just me then.

Hello to a fellow Mom of twins! I found your site on a "twin search." I love it! This particular post made me laugh - the thought of me presenting my sons to my husband after their birth... ha! The only thing I presented him with was my vomit for several hours as I came down off the drugs. Keep up the good writing! (Do you mind if I link to this post from my own blog?)
