LOOK I'm not one to moan, but we all know that there are plenty of ahem, challenges that having a multiple birth family can bring.
I've written about them often enough - from the increased risks in pregnancy, the higher incidence of post natal depression and the emotional and financial costs of having more than one baby at once.
But as Tamba's Twins, Triplets & More Week is upon us, please can we take a moment to think of all those reasons why multiple birth parents are so very blessed?
See over the cut for my top five reasons why it's great to have twins!
1. Two cuddles are better than one.
2. One pregnancy may just be better than two - there's no way I'm doing that again!
3. Because they keep each other amused just lovely - how many times does a child with a sibling the same age whinge "I'm bored?"
4. Because they can be such great mates to each other.
5. Because on the few occasions I can persuade them to help with any housework, they do it twice as quick as one little girl would.
What do you think is the best thing about having twins or more?
I have really enjoyed watching my daughters grow into two very attractive young ladies with very different characters. Seeing them reach their 18th birthday stung - but they have both promised to stay with me for a little yet.
Yay for twins!
