SO here we are on a Sunday afternoon. The kids are playing in the garden and Neil is busy pottering.
I may have mentioned that I've been blogging away here for a year now, well I have always had in mind to do some sort of round up of the posts from various blogs I've liked, but wasn't convinced anyone was reading.
Now I know they are - thank you! - so here we go...
Yes, who would have thought Allo Allo would work as a feature film?. Check out Rilly's verdict on Atonement. I'm just hoping it's not as violent as that nice young McAvoy fella's last big film. Ewww.
An interesting discussion of the whys and wherefores of putting young children into nursery, sparked by attitudes towards Russian mums from Motheratlarge. You used to get a medal if you had ten or more. Phew.
Beta Mum has a great post about excuses - one of my favourite subjects! I was the Queen of excuses at school, on the days I hadn't managed to do my homework on the bus on the way in, that is. These days, working for myself, fibbing would be a bit, well strange, really.
Talking of excuses, Little Mummy reports on whether ADHD is 'a valid illness' or a 'convenient excuse' - a thorny issue that has divided experts for some time now. As ever with Littlemummy, the discussion continues with thougtful, and thought-provoking comments.
Now here's a subject close to my heart, eating - and with your family! Andy Merrett reports on efforts to inspire more parents to sit down with their kids at mealtimes. It's no big deal in our house - that's just the way it is and it's a lovely 'together' time - the problem is for the mum in this house at least, there's just far too much to eat!
If you would like to nominate a post for inclusion in next week's round-up then please get in touch here.

Thanks for the mention. I have been really impressed by the comments that have come my way on that article, I must ay I was a little concerned it might descend into a slanging match, I should have known better I have great readers who, as you said, offer thought provoking viewpoints.
I love the idea of a weekly roundup and look forwardto checking out your other highlights.
