AS someone who cries her eyes out at the scene in Parent Trap where the girls' mum hugs one of her daughters on the stairs, not realising she hasn't seen her for a few years, I was bound to find this story heartbreaking.
These women never even knew the other existed! They were genuinely separated at birth. Goodness me. Apparently, it has caused an outrage. Phew. I'm not surprised. The book sounds great - will have to find out more.
