Telethon on CTV Atlantic in Canada to feature MacKinnon quadruplets
IF you have access to the CTV Atlantic in Canada, check out the 24th Annual IWK Telethon for Children this weekend.
The MacKinnon quadruplets -- Julia, Morah, Alex and Ben -- are expected to be featured on Saturday at 7-8 p.m. and 10-11 p.m. and Sunday at 10-11 a.m. and 3-4 p.m.
The quadruplets spent 100 days in the IWK Health Center NICU after they were born 11 weeks early on Jan. 24, 2008. Their parents are Christa and Capt. Joseph MacKinnon of the 404 Maritime Patrol and Training Squadron at 14 Wing Greenwood, and Matthew is their big brother.
The telethon is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on Saturday and airs until 6 p.m. on Sunday. It will broadcast live from sites in Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Cape Breton and Halifax. Some of the hosts will be from CTV Atlantic's Breakfast Television.
