Should my girls go into different classes? Update: They never did...

DO you remember I blogged about wondering if Emily and Melissa going back into different classes would be the best thing for Year Five?

Well this update on my last update is to say they never did! Instead they got a letter, along with the rest of the class to tell them they would be in a new teacher's class next year. When I met this news by telling them that they were in fact going to be split up again, all hell let loose - well a few tears anyway.

They weren't at all fazed by being apart but they were inconsolable about missing their two closest friends, if one or other of them went their separate ways..erm to a different room a few feet away.

Triplets start school after nightmare summer

CONGRATULATIONS to Jake, Josh and Jamie Howe who have started school just weeks after Jake nearly drowned on holiday.

It was a true milestone for the four-year-olds, and one the boys' parents feared they would never see, reports the Herald in Dublin.

"The first day in school is an emotional one anyway, but to be sending three of them off makes it harder, but obviously we are thrilled that Jake can go with his brothers," mum Michelle is quoted as saying.

A joyous triplet video to brighten your morning

WELL, I don't know how I missed this on YouTube, but it has proved a perfect pick-me-up. It may be cold and rainy outside but the clip is pure sunshine! (I'm sorry if that sounds corny, but I can't help it.) Enjoy.

Anyway, as ever I digress. News reaches me this morning, thanks to a very nice PR lady called Sally (she'll like that) that Talking Tots have launched a competition to find some video stars to help promote bedtime reading.

There's £750 worth of goodies on offer in return for a video about "bedtime stories." As prizes include two sets of bedtime clothes, plus pillows and bedding, a £250 crib/nursery seat and £150 of ELC toys, it's well worth entering, however many children you have.

There are some smashing videos of twins, triplets and more here. I wonder if any of these budding megastars could do another turn?

Welcome back to You've Got Your Hands Full!

SO my daughters are back at school (and exhausted already) and I'm back at work. I've been joined by my partner Neil, which is fun, so far - I never doubted it would be...oh okay, I'm lying.

That means we have plenty up our sleeves to hopefully keep readers of this blog entertained and informed. I know that Becky has also had a busy summer and has more brilliant ideas for you. I hope you can check back to see what we are all up to soon.
