Iowa fraternal twins recover after they collided with each other

MY twin daughters were in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) for several weeks after they were born. I never gave it much thought until now, but I hope I never have to visit them together in the same hospital again. So can you imagine doing that 17 years later? One family in Iowa did.

Fraternal twins Melissa and Matt Gade were driving separate cars in separate directions on the same gravel road on Feb. 6, 2009. They ran into each other head on at the top of a hill. They were flown to a hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, where they are recovering from multiple fractures and internal injuries.

Texas octuplets talk about California octuplets

PARENTS of 10-year-old octuplets, Nkem Chukwu and Iyke Louis Udobi, speak to Larry King about raising a large family. One of the octuplets died a week after birth. They also have a 7-year-old daughter.

SRI Internationalin Menlo Park, Calif., is looking for twins to participate in a study of a pain-relief medication called alfentanil. The three-year study is sponsored by the National Institutes of Health.

Syria has two sets of quintuplets within three days

QUINTUPLETS (four girls and one boy) were born at 34 weeks in Damascus on Jan. 30, 2009. Just three days earlier, another set of quintuplets (three girls and two boys) were born Jan. 27, 2009.

A moving YouTube tribute to a much loved daughter helps boost NICU support

THE above video has been posted on YouTube to help remember and celebrate the life of Emily Anne Roberts, who died aged just 19 days and was one of quadruplets.

Australian twins become police officers together

IDENTICAL twins Hannah and Amy James trained separately to become officers with the Queensland Police Service. Constable Hannah James is stationed at Calamvale, and Constable Amy James is stationed at Charters Towers.
