About

  • This blog was set up in 2006 as a resource for parents of multiple birth children.

Then it moved on to include journalism, fiction, media requests and advice under the 'Write away' category as well as the odd bit of nonsense about my family and eating too much cake. Then it sort of stopped. But I still pop up here now and again when the fancy takes me.

    Thanks for reading.

Absolutely gorgeous - and you are so smiley in both pictures.
Brilliant brilliant portraits. Your girls are stars x

Cue Vision On music. Cos I am very smiley in real life you know, especially when on rollercoasters. They could have drawn me with a dog turd on my head and they would still be stars.
Okay, possibly not.

I see that you weren't posing with 'that face' ... you know the one.

I shall get my little monkeys to draw me, I reckon the 5 year old will be far more rforgiving than the 3 year old who refuses to draw anything but circles.

Hi Laura - can you get them to make a model of you holding a snail?
I was pulling no such face. So there.

The hearts and stars are a definite sign of adoration! Thanks for the tag.

These pictures are brilliant! "Red cheeks you get when you are 41" or "Red cheeks you get after a glass of wine or two?". They've spent a lot of time on them you can tell. I posted up my son's picture yesterday. Not great. But then he's a 3 year old. And a boy.

Thanks Rosie and Whistlejacket. I showed this to my daughters and they are chuffed to bits. Emily read my comment above and said: "Thanks, I think."

lovely drawrings mum

Emily if that is really you my darling, please go back to your lesson. And make sure you have your spellings for tonight xx

I love them. So smiley!

Hello - thank you that is just like me, honest.

Strangely accurately, don't know how we'll live up to this new online competitive parenting :) but we will try....just remember she is three!!

Just came across your blog. This is so cute :)

Loved the pics and reading the comments lol

Your daughters must adore you, seeing that they drew stars and hearts around your face :)

Your blog brought a smile on my face so thank you for sharing those adorable drawings.

Cheers,

Marica
