NEXT April, I'm going to be taking a workshop at the Festival of Writing, at York University.
It looks an amazing event with some brilliant speakers and a fantastic array of UK publishing figures. The chance to pitch your work direct to publishers and agents sounds intriguing.
My workshop is on how to make money as a freelance writer. The organisers have very kindly referred to me as the author of the 'freelancers' Bible.'
I'd love to see some of you there.
Does anyone fancy it?*
I'm going to take time to work on fiction before then.
Here are some of my short stories if you haven't read them before:
* Am already looking forward to the promise of fizzy pop with Laura.

I'm actually pretty gutted i'm going to miss this. Have just booked flights to England for next May. Damn it!
