Our local dancing school has donated thousands of pounds over the years and now telly's biggest mugging-for-the-cameras-cum-sobbing-cum-hard-luck-stories fest* is also lending its weight to support the world famous hospital.
* Well apart from I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Emily at Brits in Bosnia has asked parent bloggers to support this latest bid to raise cash to help the children treated.
Here's what spokeswoman at the hospital said last week:
"We're asking for everyone’s support in helping this single make the number one spot this weekend. Sony are donating all profits from the sale of the single and a number of retailers are also very kindly donating all their profits from the sale of the single.
"Please ask everyone you know to buy/download this single now – it doesn’t cost much but every single bought will make an incredible difference to the sickest children in the UK right now."
I love X Factor of course, but I love part-time dinner lady, full-time diva Geraldine more - hence the video. And anyway, the genius behind Geraldine will be topping the charts pretty soon for sure so please do still also back the X Factor's effort if you can!
