About

  • This blog was set up in 2006 as a resource for parents of multiple birth children.

Then it moved on to include journalism, fiction, media requests and advice under the 'Write away' category as well as the odd bit of nonsense about my family and eating too much cake. Then it sort of stopped. But I still pop up here now and again when the fancy takes me.

    Thanks for reading.

Just brilliant, Linda. Thanks for joining in. I was slightly concerned about the image I would be viewing over here when I read the comment you left on my site! You're a star! xx

I love 'bring me sunshine' sung by Morcombe and Wise

LOVE that sketch. Absolute classic! :)

I love that sketch, Julie Walters is a legend.

hehe - makes a change to see something on a blog about something to make you smile, good on Rosie for starting it.

Have done my meme! There's something over at mine I think you will like Linda ;-)

BRILLIANT choice of video - one of my favourite sketches :)

Thank you for the comments and keeping them clean, which I know for some people (Rosie) is hard. Thank you Trish for making me howl, thank you Ellie for calling me a cock, thank you Nickie - yes it's hard to beat and thank you Snow White, me too. xx

Hello honey, thanks for the tag, as you know I do adore a good tagging .....will put my thinking cap on xx

Marvellous, looking forward to a higher standard of post! xx

Ha ha, thank you! Do love a bit of Julie Walters.

Sweetie, your posts are always of the very highest standard. Morals, now ...*shakes head sadly* xx

Two soups is one of my absolutely all time favourite Julie Walters sketches, but I also love the line said by Mrs Overall in an episode of Acord Antiques: 'Her hair was red, as red as a London bus.' My sister and I used to spend hours perfecting our Mrs Overall impression (OK, this was before the internet and more than 3 TV channels, remember!) x

Acorn. I meant Acorn Antiques, obviously. Hands are cold!

I can do a Mrs Overall impression without trying, it's all in the gusset.
