*sigh* This is what got me through my dissertation (on Allen Ginsberg, since you ask). I watched it for about two weeks solid at 2am in the morning 'cos that's when they used to show it on Anglia (I was at Essex uni). It was brilliant.

Yes, further proof if any were needed that me and you are exactly the same age. I was at Wolverhampton Poly if you must know :) and was writing about Russian housing and French television! Later, I used to go to a nightclub and when they played this I used to chase the DJ round in the hope I could catch him and he would dance with me, funnily enough it never worked, I did catch him but he still wouldn't dance with me...

I was actually just thinking about this the other day weird - my whole family would stay up and watch it. They don't make them like this anymore *she sheds a lonely tear*
