This blog was set up in 2006 as a resource for parents of multiple birth children.
But it has moved on to include journalism, fiction, media requests and advice under the 'Write away' category as well as the odd bit of nonsense about my family and eating too much cake.
I'm the director of a small Midlands agency contributing features as well as commercial writing work, training and new media consultancy.
My book, The Greatest Freelance Writing Tips in the World, was published in October 2007 and Divorce, The Essential Guide for Parents, was published in the autumn of 2008. A collection of new comedy writing collected through Twitter, imaginatively titled TwitterTitters, in aid of Comic Relief, was published in the spring of 2009.
Check out the news and events page for details of training workshops.
ARE you an identical twin? Fancy taking part in an art exhibition at the Tate Modern? (or as The Guardian puts it sitting in front of a pair of Damien Hirst's spot paintings while people look at you.)
The museum is appealing for pairs of identical twins to get in touch as it announced details of this year's big autumn show, Pop Life: Art in a Material World, examining Andy Warhol's declaration that "good business is the best art". It's to be held in October.
According to the Independent, the exhibition, three years in the planning, will also look at more modern day artists at their most "self-aggrandising."
ACCORDING to this piece, twins loom large in this year's Eurovision once again, even if these sisters fell at the last hurdle before getting there.
The above video is of twin sisters Sophie and Magaly who charmed the Eurovison audience back in 1980 with Papa Pingouin, ending in a respectable 9th place, before going on to have a massive hit in their native France.
WHAT do you reckon to this? The consensus on YouTube seems to be that it's pretty awesome!
Check out some more "awesome" (and cute) videos of twins, triplets and more here.
THIS sister act has been around for a while, hasn't it?
They come across as lovely, warm girls - perfect say for kids' TV, but they're not Eurovision material really, are they?
Or perhaps I should say they could be, if the competition this year wasn't so strong.
Personally, I find it a tiny bit annoying to see them encouraged to flag up how they feel they 'are the same person' - as they do in the video below. But I understand that's how these things work.
And here's how they did on X Factor:
I'M a miserable old so and so who usually mutters under her breath when reading any media reports which concern well-worn themes of twins hoodwinking a) teachers b) driving instructors or c) their 'love interest.'
But this piece from the BBC is a delight. It tells the story of two sisters, Hettie and Iris Beazley and how they fell for each other's fella. (D'you see what I did there?)
Anyway, good on 'em. May there be many more happy years to come.
ARE you courageous enough to allow a celebrity to cut and style your hair, pamper you with a beauty treatment or even give you a full makeover for a special occasion?
The team behind Celebrity Scissorhands has been in touch with the following message:
Once again, a group of inexperienced celebrities will be hoping to cut it in the world of hair and beauty in aid of BBC Children in Need and they're looking for identical twins and triplets to style and preen.
If you would like to be in with a chance of receiving a haircut or treatment from one of our untrained celebrities this autumn. You can apply now here.
The clip above is from the Gadget Show. Personally I think they all look great. Three gorgeous men and Blackpool Pleasure Beach - sounds like a perfect combination to me.
