This blog was set up in 2006 as a resource for parents of multiple birth children.
Then it moved on to include journalism, fiction, media requests and advice under the 'Write away' category as well as the odd bit of nonsense about my family and eating too much cake. Then it sort of stopped. But I still pop up here now and again when the fancy takes me.
Thanks for reading.

THIS is a fascinating insight into family life in the most famous address in the world.
Jenna and Barbara Bush have written to Barack Obama's two young daughters to let them know what lies ahead in what they call a 'magical place to live'.
'Surround yourself with loyal friends' is another piece of key advice. And who could blame them as they tell the world: 'Our dad is not just a sketch in the paper'?
* By the way (well it tickled me) when I told my daughter Emily that for some people Obama had proved anything was possible, she replied: "Can he fly then?"

THIS sister act has been around for a while, hasn't it?
They come across as lovely, warm girls - perfect say for kids' TV, but they're not Eurovision material really, are they?
Or perhaps I should say they could be, if the competition this year wasn't so strong.
Personally, I find it a tiny bit annoying to see them encouraged to flag up how they feel they 'are the same person' - as they do in the video below. But I understand that's how these things work.
And here's how they did on X Factor:
The clip above is from the Gadget Show. Personally I think they all look great. Three gorgeous men and Blackpool Pleasure Beach - sounds like a perfect combination to me.
SARAH at Sarah and the Goon Squad wrote a book review of Tiki: My Life in the Game and Beyond by Tiki Barber.
I asked Sarah to read Tiki's book because she's a raging football fan (her words), a fan of Tiki and his identical twin brother, Ronde, and she's the mother of 4-year-old twins, the Goon Squad. We met when we were both pregnant with our twins. Mine were actually due after hers were, but they were born earlier. The Goon Squad was born two weeks later.
DO you know what a wedgie is? I only found out a week or so ago, when Emily said she didn't want to pull her trousers up any more!
Now American twins Jared and Justin Serovich have found fame after inventing underwear called "Rip Away 1000," - clothing that refuses to be jerked up to give its wearer a painful "wedgie."
The brothers hit on the idea after giving each other the treatment. I wonder if it'll catch on. Watch this video for a fuller story...
