New design for a new year

I'm baaaaaaaaack!

Sorry for the lack of posts. I've had a busy summer (moved from Florida to Iowa in less than two months) and an incredibly cold winter (just staying warm takes a lot of energy). Then I had technical difficulties with Typepad. I think things are all in working order now, though.

I posted in September 2008 about some changes to the blog, but we've got even more. With the help of Kristine Freed and Sherilyn Brinker of Brinker-Freed Photography and new mother-of-twins Kerrin Laari and her 5-week-old babies, Elise and Ian, we have a fabulous new image to use on the blog.

None of the changes would have been possible, though, without Jo-Lynne at DCR Design. She put it all together and made it look great.

THINGS are looking a little different around You've Got Your Hands Full! We have just done a major redesign, with the help of the fabulous DCR Design. We have lots of organizing to do and a few more suprises up our sleeves. Stay tuned!

Welcome back to You've Got Your Hands Full!

SO my daughters are back at school (and exhausted already) and I'm back at work. I've been joined by my partner Neil, which is fun, so far - I never doubted it would be...oh okay, I'm lying.

That means we have plenty up our sleeves to hopefully keep readers of this blog entertained and informed. I know that Becky has also had a busy summer and has more brilliant ideas for you. I hope you can check back to see what we are all up to soon.

To everyone who has commented while we haven't been paying attention - thank you, we love it when a plan comes together.

Summer break

AS the long summer holidays are now upon us, I'm winding this blog down until the autumn. I'd like to say a massive thank you to Becky for all her hard work in recent weeks and months, and look forward to lots of new stuff and surprises come September...

HELLO! I'm Becky, and I have twin daughters, who are almost four, and a five-and-a-half-year-old son. I'm a journalist, and I blog at Deep Muck Big Rake.

Happy Mother's Day

I HOPE you have a lovely day amid the chaos. May you be spoiled rotten for a change!

We're off to a canalside pub for a lazy lunch and hopefully a few glasses of fizzy stuff.

Who knows, if your children are still very young, perhaps today could even be the day that nobody stops you to marvel at the blindingly obvious: You've got your hands full.

SO there I was moaning that I had no time to keep going with this blog, when Becky offered to help.
