Twins and Eurovision: double the talent!

ACCORDING to this piece, twins loom large in this year's Eurovision once again, even if these sisters fell at the last hurdle before getting there.

The above video is of twin sisters Sophie and Magaly who charmed the Eurovison audience back in 1980 with Papa Pingouin, ending in a respectable 9th place, before going on to have a massive hit in their native France.

As ever lots of things. Family and work, work and family. That's about it really. Blog wise, I'm still reeling from our Disney experience, and am blown away by the work of Camilla Chafer and Keris Stainton so far on our new travel blog, Havealovelytime.com.

2. Which item of clothes do you wear most often?

Nebraska 23-weeker quadruplets turn 1

"MEDICAL miracles" Brett, Kaden, Parker and Cooper Woolen turned 1 on Feb. 11, 2009. They were born in 2008 at 23 weeks at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. See story and video here. Happy birthday!

X Factor twins compete for chance at Eurovision

IDENTICAL twin sisters Francine and Nicola Gleadall compete on Your Country Needs You final tonight on BBC1. If they win, they will compete in the Eurovision Song Contest Moscow 2009 in May.

Children's TV researcher looking for family with twins and a toddler

WE'VE received the following message from a TV researcher. Please get in touch with me on linda@passionatemedia.co.uk  if you'd like to know more and I can pass on the contact details.

We are currently working on a new idea for Five's Milkshake strand, which revolves around a family with several small children under the age of seven.

We want to film an observational documentary for pre-schoolers about the everyday home-based activities of the family with particular focus on the children. Five have already produced two similar series, 'Big School', and 'Play' and this series, 'Home', will be the logical extension of the idea.

We think it would be fun to feature a family with, possibly, one child of about 6 or 7, twins of 4 or 5 and a younger toddler. The odd family pet would be fun too.

Triplets aim to show 'they're not all the same' on Big Brother 10

Anyway, looking forward (is that the right expression?) to the summer and Big Brother 10, here's a video from some triplets aiming to kickstart a media career no doubt.

From X Factor to Eurovision hopefuls: What next for The Twins?

THIS sister act has been around for a while, hasn't it?

They come across as lovely, warm girls - perfect say for kids' TV, but they're not Eurovision material really, are they?

Or perhaps I should say they could be, if the competition this year wasn't so strong.

Personally, I find it a tiny bit annoying to see them encouraged to flag up how they feel they 'are the same person' - as they do in the video below. But I understand that's how these things work.
