This blog was set up in 2006 as a resource for parents of multiple birth children.
But it has moved on to include journalism, fiction, media requests and advice under the 'Write away' category as well as the odd bit of nonsense about my family and eating too much cake.
I'm the director of a small Midlands agency contributing features as well as commercial writing work, training and new media consultancy.
Check out the news and events page for details of training workshops.
TWO soups? I love this sketch. I've chosen it as an image that makes me smile after being tagged by Rosie Scribble. She also wants to know a song that makes me feel happy too - that'll be Wake me up before you go go, by Wham. (But not Everything she wants even if I was in the crowd at the NEC when the video was filmed, don't you know.)
Erica and Alicehave passed the baton on this one, so here goes...1. What are your current obsessions?
As ever lots of things. Family and work, work and family. That's about it really. Blog wise, I'm still reeling from our Disney experience, and am blown away by the work of Camilla Chafer and Keris Stainton so far on our new travel blog, Havealovelytime.com.
2. Which item of clothes do you wear most often?
Just anything black, black and more black. If you want to know why, look here.
THE above video has been posted on YouTube to help remember and celebrate the life of Emily Anne Roberts, who died aged just 19 days and was one of quadruplets.
It's a clear reminder as we so passionately (or dispassionately in some cases) discuss the numbers of babies born together of how special each and every child is.
THE first time I saw any of Emily and Melissa's friends with a mobile phone was at their eighth birthday party.
The two girls who brought them along didn't know how to make a call.
My daughters regularly ask for a phone as a present as a birthday or Christmas approaches. Now 10, they haven't got one yet.
The following is a post from Camilla Chafer on her blog about family-friendly gadgets and stuff, Technoglam. It has amazed me so I'm going to go away and find out more about the research, I'm wondering how big the poll was.
Camilla says she's also surprised by the figures and reports that 40 per cent of eight to 11-year-old girls are using a mobile phone every day, while 22 per cent of boys the same age are busy on their handsets.
I can't quite believe it - can you?
BECKY has set up a blog network on Facebook for You've got your hands full. If you would like to join, then you can do so here.
This network is another way of bringing families with twins, triplets or more together, as well as other parents who have read and enjoyed this blog. It also helps spread the word about the blog.
You can also join a Facebook group for You've got your hands full here.
IF you are a bit fed up of reading earnest or angst-ridden posts from the likes or me or other so-called 'Mummy bloggers' then check this out.
Even when she got pregnant she said it was just because we needed the milk.
Thank you, whoever you are.
BECKY is. Goonsquad Sarah is. I am.
Are you?
There's a massive list of mothers on Twitter here. But I'm thinking most of those of us blessed with multiples may not be finding the time, somehow.
THERE'S a new Facebook group for readers of this blog. So thank you to all those who have already signed up and if you would like to, then you are very welcome.
It means we can find out more about each other, network, chat on the discussion board, or whatever.
Would love to see you there. The group is here, but you do have to be a member of Facebook - which is free. I think it's useful and fun, but then I am a sad case.
I HAD a call from Central News this afternoon and this is the result. I'm sure there must have been something up with the camera, as I look as big as six houses. (The link is to the whole of the programme by the way and I am the happy little chubby chops lady about six minutes in.)
I'm talking about encouraging individuality in twins, which was handy as I was talking to Jane Denton at the Multiple Births Foundation about this just last week.
Central got in touch as they wanted an expert commentator on multiple birth issues after a mum took her 11-year-old boys out of school rather than let them be separated for 20 minutes. Trouble was I'd gone home with a poorly tummy.
I kept saying I wasn't in any position to judge another mum for her decision, but yes in my own personal opinion, it's a good idea to separate twins. I'm just glad I didn't have to run off for the sort of explosion that really could have made things worse on camera.
