Twins and Eurovision: double the talent!

ACCORDING to this piece, twins loom large in this year's Eurovision once again, even if these sisters fell at the last hurdle before getting there.

The above video is of twin sisters Sophie and Magaly who charmed the Eurovison audience back in 1980 with Papa Pingouin, ending in a respectable 9th place, before going on to have a massive hit in their native France.

Would you plan to give birth to twins or triplets at home? Couple say hospital denies them "rightful choice"

WITH more than 300,000 views on YouTube, this video has a pretty powerful message.

Questions tackled head on by the producers include:

* So both babies have to be head down for a vaginal birth?

* So all twins should be born by c-section?

* So older mums have to have a Caesarean?

More than a million YouTube hits for twins' 'human mirror'

WHAT do you reckon to this? The consensus on YouTube seems to be that it's pretty awesome!

Check out some more "awesome" (and cute) videos of twins, triplets and more here.

Twins for Charlie Sheen and Brooke Meuller

IN these days of weirder and weirder celebrity baby names, it's strangely reassuring to read that former hellraiser Charlie Sheen has named his newborn baby twins Bob and Max. The funky young reporter above reckons they sound like poker buddies!

The babies are said to be "doing well" despite arriving six weeks early and The Sun reports that the happy couple are over the moon to have decorated the nursery.

Sheen, 43, is now a father of five. He married Mueller, 31, in May 2008. The Two and a half Men star also has two daughters with former wife Denise Richards and a 23-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

A moving YouTube tribute to a much loved daughter helps boost NICU support

THE above video has been posted on YouTube to help remember and celebrate the life of Emily Anne Roberts, who died aged just 19 days and was one of quadruplets.

It's a clear reminder as we so passionately (or dispassionately in some cases) discuss the numbers of babies born together of how special each and every child is.

CBS News report: A very special delivery as US mum has octuplets

OKAY, wow. Eight babies. And they thought there were 'only' seven.

A (for now) anonymous American mum has given birth to octuplets and says she wants 'limited information' about them to be broadcast.

Judging by the comments on the video above on YouTube, I can see why.

There's an interesting report from the BBC here which also includes details of octuplets born in Houston in 1998. And here's what Graham Walton - a Liverpool dad to sextuplets, now 25, - has to say.

Triplets aim to show 'they're not all the same' on Big Brother 10

SO Ulrika won.

Anyway, looking forward (is that the right expression?) to the summer and Big Brother 10, here's a video from some triplets aiming to kickstart a media career no doubt.

Are they Big Brother material do you think?

'Remember who your dad really is' - Bush twins' advice for Sasha and Malia Obama

THIS is a fascinating insight into family life in the most famous address in the world.

Jenna and Barbara Bush have written to Barack Obama's two young daughters to let them know what lies ahead in what they call a 'magical place to live'.

'Surround yourself with loyal friends' is another piece of key advice. And who could blame them as they tell the world: 'Our dad is not just a sketch in the paper'?

* By the way (well it tickled me) when I told my daughter Emily that for some people Obama had proved anything was possible, she replied: "Can he fly then?"

From X Factor to Eurovision hopefuls: What next for The Twins?

THIS sister act has been around for a while, hasn't it?

They come across as lovely, warm girls - perfect say for kids' TV, but they're not Eurovision material really, are they?

Or perhaps I should say they could be, if the competition this year wasn't so strong.

Personally, I find it a tiny bit annoying to see them encouraged to flag up how they feel they 'are the same person' - as they do in the video below. But I understand that's how these things work.

And here's how they did on X Factor:
